Description:

With its main span of 228m it is larger than most Austrian bridges. In 1973 the bridge was opened to traffic. Up to this day the cable-stayed bridge fascinates as an elegant structure meeting high aesthetic standards. From the top of the 77m high tower it is possible to see the neighbouring town of Bratislava. The river span has a deck width of 13.4m. The bridge has a total length of 1872m.

It is the only bridge crossing the Danube River between Vienna and Bratislava. It was renamed into „Andreas Maurer Bridge“ in 2012.
